Scarlet Nights - Jude Deveraux

Not all books are written to educate or to expound on some wonderful theory, or expose a horrible secret.  Some are written to provide the reader with the simple pleasure of reading a good story.


As a story teller myself, I can appreciate many different types of stories and certainly enjoy an eclectic variety of reading material.


I just finished reading "Scarlet Nights" by Jude Deveraux.


It is pure fiction which I picked up because I have read her work before and knew I was in for an enjoyable few days as I followed this story line.  


Ms. Deveraux has a wonderful sense of humor which shines through, and those who know me, can understand how I would enjoy that.


This story has a bit of mystery, romance (but not horrible trashy stuff), and humor throughout.


If you have read Jude Deveraurx before, I'm sure you will want to pick up this book to follow undercover detective Mike Newland through the sleepy little town of Edilean.
